Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts About 1.5 lbs.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Whisk together until well blended.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • Once the oil is hot, add the chicken breasts to the skillet and sear them for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until they are golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, pour in the garlic cream mixture and bring it to a simmer. Stir in half of the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
  • Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, spoon the creamy sauce over the top, and sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese over the chicken.
  • Transfer the skillet (if oven-safe) or move the chicken and sauce to a baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve this Garlic Parmesan Chicken with steamed vegetables or over a bed of pasta or rice to soak up the delicious sauce.
For added flavor, you can include red pepper flakes for a spicy kick or lemon juice for brightness.
Feel free to customize the herbs, adding thyme or oregano for an extra layer of flavor.
