Ingredients
  

  • 2 shots espresso or strong brewed coffee
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 2 tablespoons whipped cream optional for topping
  • crushed peppermint candies optional for garnish
  • cocoa powder optional for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Brew 2 shots of espresso or a strong cup of coffee using your preferred method.
  • In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until warm, but not boiling. Stir frequently to avoid scalding.
  • Once the milk is heated, remove it from the heat and whisk in the chocolate syrup and peppermint extract until well combined and frothy.
  • In each mug, pour the freshly brewed espresso or coffee.
  • Slowly pour the peppermint chocolate milk mixture over the coffee in each mug, stirring gently to combine.
  • Top with whipped cream, if desired, and garnish with crushed peppermint candies or a sprinkle of cocoa powder for extra flair.

Notes

Adjust the amount of chocolate syrup and peppermint extract based on personal taste preferences.
For added richness, you can substitute part of the milk with half-and-half or cream.
To make a larger batch, simply double or triple the ingredients as needed, keeping the same proportions.
