Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the sliced smoked sausage to the skillet and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes until the onion is translucent and fragrant.
  • Stir in the red and green bell peppers, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables start to soften.
  • Add the broccoli florets, smoked paprika, black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix well and cook for another 5-7 minutes until the broccoli is tender-crisp.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding a splash of soy sauce or hot sauce at the end of cooking.
You can substitute vegetables based on what you have on hand, such as zucchini or spinach.
Serve over cooked rice or pasta for a complete meal.
