Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, oregano, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties, about 3/4 inch thick.
  • Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat. If using a skillet, add olive oil to prevent sticking.
  • Cook the turkey patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) using a meat thermometer.
  • Allow the patties to rest for a few minutes before assembling your burgers.
  • Toast the hamburger buns if desired. Assemble the burgers with lettuce, tomato, and any other toppings you prefer.
  • For added moisture, mix in some chopped onions or bell peppers during the initial mixing step.
  • Serve with a side of sweet potato fries or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
